SS - The FluCold. For someone who had spent most of her life in Brazil, cold couldn't even begin to describe the New York Winter. Lúcia shivered under the heaps of clothing she was wearing and hurried back to the academy. She had only been out for a few minutes, wanting to prove herself she could resist the cold, but failed. The fact that Johann had sent her a text message had only been a lucky excuse to go back. Though she probably shouldn't call it that - the fact that he said he needed her help meant something was wrong. 
She found him in the lounge as expected from his message, but he wasn't alone. A blonde short kid who she had seen before but whose name she couldn't remember was there too - and so was Mia, lying on a large couch. She didn't look too good.
"Johann! What's wrong?"

Abilities
Can shift into any animal he has looked into the eyes of - which means very small animals (like ants) or eyeless animals (like worms) are off-limits. He can stay shifted for around half an hour, but as he shifts more and more often he is able to push the limit back.
If he is wearing clothes, they'll disappear while he is transformed and reappear when he turns back to his human form.

Zima Firelance curled up in a ball, on the mattress, and let her thoughts wander. How did she get there? What had she done to deserve it? She had no idea. Her family had never done anything to deserve what had befallen them, as far as she knew. It was just that the whole world had always been out to get them, for some reason she could not fathom.

Of course, she knew what the problem was, but it was so ridiculous she couldn't even bring herself to believe it.
BridgeThe woman fell asleep right away, helped by the injection. Katherine watched over her. She was sleeping very deeply, a bit too deep for the purpose. Katherine adjusted her machines, and the woman’s breath became less deep and faster. Yes. She was probably ready.
Katherine sat by the mattress’s end and closed her eyes.
She worked quickly. The webs weren’t too hard to weave, but concentration was heavily needed. She always had to stop herself from giving in the temptation of just appreciating the beautiful hue of the threads, shining in the dark, always slightly different from person to person. She touched them carefully, as if she was afraid to break them, and rearranged them.
The bridge took some time to form, but it gleamed beautifully in the darkness of space. Katherine waited. Soon, the woman’s dreams would begin flowing through it, and reach her.
